on its acquisition of L & D Transportation Services, Inc.

and acquisitions announced today that it acted as exclusive financial
advisor to Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. (“Toyota”) and
its logistics subsidiary on its acquisition of substantially all
the assets of L & D Transportation Services, Inc. (“L
L & D is a full service logistics provider headquartered in
Knoxville, Tennessee with multiple service centers and crossdock
facilities in Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan and Texas. L & D provides
long and short haul trucking and logistics services to a group of
key Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers to the automobile manufacturing
Toyota is one of the leading Japanese trading companies and member
of the Toyota Group of Companies. Its trading activities include
metals, automotive, chemicals and plastics, logistics and food &
agricultural products. Toyota is a long-standing client of Knox
& Co. and this represents another in a series of successful
corporate finance assignments Knox has completed for Toyota.
